Family hiking path to the Maximilian cave in Zirl
Topic: „Hunting and fishing“
On the occasion of the Year of Maximilian in 2019, the already existing hiking path to the Maximilian cave will be transformed into a theme path.
In 2015, the path was completely renovated, broadened and secured. The starting point of a hiking tour is the free parking place at the ambulance station in Zirl. It is a simple hiking tour with a length of 1.6 km, a height of 200 meters and duration of 50-60 minutes.
In relation to the venue in the Martinswand and the Maximilian cave, 12 plates give information about hunting and fishing at the time of Emperor Maximilian. The tale of Emperor Maximilian's hunting adventure in the Martinswand also plays an important role in this hiking trail.
Date: The historical family hiking trail will be opened in April 2019 at 2pm.
Starting point: Parking place at the ambulance station in Zirl
